Contemporary, Mediteranian, modern Latin. These are all phrases that have been used to describe this project. Whatever we want to call it, the end results yield a nice combination of functionality and a vibrant aesthetic. In this landscape, the multi level water feature is the central focus. The feature is not only the visual focus, but is the functional centerpiece that divides two patio areas; taking up the subsequent elevation changes and providing seating opportunities on all sides. We constructed the patios using concrete pavers (Wausau Tile Company), letting the light coloration contrast against the other materials on site. Our choice of sandstone boulders was made to compliment the tan stucco of the house.
