With a design already completed by others, Native Edge was contracted by the owner of this residence to implement the design. As a design-build company, we were able to enhance the design through the construction process and present to the owner various opportunities to achieve the best outcome possible. The project included an 800 sf composite deck with metal railings, a decorative concrete patio and staircase, a home for the hot tub, a custom fireplace/fire-pit combo, an outdoor kitchen, and several retaining walls to accommodate the various grade changes. The project was finished off with tree and shrub plantings and a retrofit of the existing irrigation system. In the end, clients objectives were met. The deck is where they can cook their meals and dine overlooking the Indian Peaks Golf Course with views of the Continental Divide. After dinner, they can adjourn to the outdoor living room to sit by the fire and enjoy a soothing soak in the hot tub.
