The owners of this property originally
contacted us to do something about a leaky 1950’s era
water feature that they inherited with the purchase
of their home. As is often the case, it was going to
be just as costly to “fix” and revamp the feature as
it would be to build a new one. Upon this realization,
NEA was then contracted to provide a landscape design
for the entire backyard. The design included a dining
patio, outdoor kitchen, new water feature, fireplace
with a built in bench, plantings, and lighting. The
plan and installation revolved around the existing large
boulders that remained from the defunct water feature.
During the construction of the project we added boulders
to the existing rock outcropping, and matched the stone
veneer of the kitchen, fireplace, and bench to the existing
stone veneer inside the home.
