After earning of BA in History and Geography from the University of Colorado-Boulder, Tom worked as a landscaper for Gold Lake Mountain Resort & Spa and various companies in and around Boulder. After earning his MLA degree from the University of Colorado-Denver in 2001 Tom founded Native Edge. Currently, Tom contributes as a board member for both the Pro Green EXPO (the region’s largest annual conference and trade show for the Green Industry) and Rejoice Children’s Center, a Christian based non-profit organization formed to support children in Nepal.
After earning MLA from the University of Colorado-Denver in 1997, Elizabeth worked for several years as an associate at a Lafayette based community and parks planning firm, where she led teams through project design and construction documents for a number of large projects. She began working for Native Edge Associates in 2006 and since then has successfully designed and managed a diverse range of award winning projects, including residential historical landmarks, mountain estates, and multi-family residential.

Raised on a farm in western Nebraska, Brad has spent his entire adult life working in the fields of masonry and landscaping. Over the course of this time, Brad has won multiple awards for projects he has designed and installed. These include a Best of Show and five consecutive first-place finishes in the Northern Colorado Tour of Ponds competition. His work has been featured on the cover of Pond World Magazine and in Spirit Magazine. In his free time, Brad enjoys spending time with his family and taking advantage of the beautiful outdoor adventures that the Colorado mountains have to offer.
Becky Hammond, B.S. Landscape Architecture
Title: Licensed Landscape Architect
Becky is a Boulder native. After earning a B.A. in Spanish from Stanford University, Becky was an interpreter/translator for a large international City Planning firm in Denver where she discovered the field of landscape architecture. After pursuing her own business selling Native American art while living on the Navajo Reservation and raising her two children, she enrolled in Colorado State University where she earned her B.S. in Landscape Architecture in 1995. She was principal in her own design/build firm for three years and then joined a well-established Boulder Design/Build firm where she worked for 15 years designing and managing over 200 diverse projects including five award winners. Her design experience encompasses water features, mountain and historic sites, large estates, children’s play spaces and meditation gardens. She currently serves as a board member for the Associated Landscape Contractors of Colorado.
Born and raised in Missouri City, Texas, David was introduced early on in life to a field in which he grew to love. With a Landscape Architect as a father, his passion for nature and landscape led him to follow in his father’s footsteps down a beautifully designed path to Native Edge. David spent 12 years working for the family landscaping business, where he gained extensive knowledge and experience in many areas including horticulture, irrigation, and nursery operations. Now, a couple years after moving to Colorado, he and his wife enjoy spending as much time as they can with their baby twin boys!
Margo joined the Native Edge team in 2007. Margo is responsible for successfully managing the office and administrative operations of our company. Her responsibilities include reception, human resources, payroll, bookkeeping and various administrative tasks. When not at work Margo enjoys the outdoors and time with family.
